The candidates will work on an exciting and varied portfolio of clients from UK and European start ups to mature businesses with global reach including a major Japanese automotive manufacturer, a world leading civil and defence aerospace company, a large American automotive component manufacturer, several multi-national oil and gas companies and a growing number of renewable energy companies. The team has a long record of acquiring new UK and direct US corporate clients and much of this success is based on the strength and adaptability of the team.
The combined London/Bristol Engineering Technologies team has a very open collaborative atmosphere and encourages and supports regular client contact. The appointees will be given responsibility at an early stage and will have the opportunity to undertake work across a wide range of patent matters, including drafting, filing and prosecuting UK, European, PCT and overseas patent applications and also oppositions, freedom to operate opinions and agreement and litigation work.
Candidates should possess an excellent degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Physics or a closely related discipline. The candidate will ideally be a recently qualified EPA and CPA.
