Tim Moss CBE announced as Chief Executive at UKIPO

On 2 May, the UK’s Intellectual Property Office (UKIPO) announced Tim Moss CBE as its new Chief Executive with immediate effect.

The UKIPO is the official UK government body responsible for intellectual property rights including patents, designs, trade marks and copyright. In Tim’s new role, he will be the leader of the UKIPO and responsible for the overall strategy and direction of the organisation.

Tim joins the UKIPO from Companies House, where he was Chief Executive. At Companies House Tim had a wide portfolio of work spanning business strategy, corporate policy, marketing, internal audit and corporate communications, as well as leading the move to a fully electronic register and service transformation. Before joining Companies House, he spent 12 years in senior operational roles in the manufacturing industry.
