London Agreement to Come into Force - Nov 2007

On 9 October 2007 the French Senate approved the law authorising France’s ratification of the London Agreement concerning national translation of European patents. France is expected to ratify the London Agreement in the next few months.

EPO Review of Divisional Practice Decision Published - Jul 2007

The EPO Enlarged Board of Appeal decision was published on 28 June 2007. In summary, the existing liberal practice is to be maintained. It will continue to be possible to amend any divisional application or resultant patent, to remove any new matter that was present when the divisional application was filed, subject to the normal rules of amendment.

Haseltine Lake at INTA 2008 Drinks Reception Celebrating 30 years of HL in Germany - Apr 2008

Haseltine Lake will be hosting a drinks reception at the INTA conference in Berlin to celebrate our 30 years anniversary of the Munich office, which opened in May 1978. Haseltine Lake Trade Mark Partners, Jane More O’Ferrall and Martin Krause along with Patent and Trade Mark Attorney David Brown and Patent Attorney Ulrich Benedum will be attending the entire INTA conference and will also be available for one to one meetings.

Chris Vigars - Mar 2008
