A SUCCESSFUL FIRST SEMINAR IN JAPAN FOR HL

The above seminar, hosted by HL held at the InterContinental Hotel Tokyo Bay on 22 May 2007 was a successful event with over 120 delegates attending from across Japan.

Electronics and Engineering Partners; David O’Connell, Frances Wilding, Jim Sunderland, Tim Stebbing and Christopher Gibbs and Chemistry & Life Sciences Partners; David Brown and Ulrich Benedum provided key information and advice on a range of European Patent issues including; getting to grips with the EP system, EPC2000, divisionals and strategic planning for Europe. In addition, delegates from the Electronics & Communications and Chemistry and Life Sciences sectors attended practical workshops on formulating specifications, drafting and amendment practice and program claims.

Following the seminar, the delegates enjoyed a networking reception with canapés and refreshments in the hotel’s Sunset Lounge with beautiful views across Tokyo Bay.
