My Favourite Patent "My favourite invention is the wind turbine. Developed over two millennia ago, the wind turbine has been used to harvest energy from the wind for centuries. Originally used in milling and pumping operations, wind turbines went into decline during the industrial revolution as oil and coal powered machines grew in popularity. However, like many good inventions, the wind turbine has endured and has been rediscovered in recent years as part of the solution to the problem of an ever increasing demand for energy in a world of dwindling resources!
