Alison joined Haseltine Lake in 2001 following periods at the UK Patent Office as an Examiner, and at another attorney firm where she gained specialist knowledge of patent renewals (annuities) and reinstatement (restoration) worldwide. She qualified as a European Patent Attorney in 1997, and as a British Chartered Patent Attorney in 1999.

Alison specialises in semiconductor physics, electronic and computer systems, medical electronics and microwave technology. She currently works in the areas of communications technology, in particular mobile communications, semiconductor devices and manufacture and general electronic systems.

Alison's clients include several multinational electronic and computer companies, and a major telecommunications company.
