Joining Haseltine Lake direct from university, Ashley qualified as a British Chartered Patent Attorney and European Patent Attorney in 1993. He has worked widely in the fields of civil, mechanical and biomedical engineering.

Ashley works principally for clients in the UK, Europe, Japan and the USA in a wide range of engineering fields including automotive, biomechanical, oil drilling and civil engineering/construction.

Ashley is a member of Haseltine Lake's specialist Intellectual Property Licensing and Litigation teams and has a Diploma in Intellectual Property Litigation from the University of London.
Ashley is a regular visitor to the USA, in particular Michigan, New York and Ohio.
