Bruno joined Haseltine Lake in August 2007, specialising in the fields of electronics, computers, optical and mass spectroscopy, optical recording, digital television, conditional access and oil field technologies.
Bruno is an experienced patent attorney who has previously founded a European patent firm for a large US attorney firm in Paris and managed patent portfolios originating from the US and Japan in addition to France. Before entering private practice, Bruno worked as an in-house counsel within several patent departments in France and Germany, including a leading multinational electronics company.
Prior to becoming an intellectual property specialist, Bruno worked as a physicist in the area of space technology for a European organisation in the Netherlands, experimentally exploring the wearing effect of atomic oxygen on materials. During his studies Bruno specialised in interdisciplinary research exploring the use of laser spectroscopy for cancer detection in human cells. Bruno has regularly lectured on European practice during visits to the USA and is also an active member of the European Qualification Examination Committee at the European Patent Office.
Bruno is fluent in French, German, English and Dutch, and has a basic knowledge of Farsi.
