"My favourite invention is contact lenses - the first sketches of contact lenses were done by Leonardo da Vinci in the 16th century. Since I had to give up about a half diopter for each year of university, contacts have been able to give me back the freedom to jog, ski and even swim without the nuisance of a pair of glasses on my nose "
