David formerly worked at a commercial research establishment where he was mainly responsible for maintaining the liquid crystal materials portfolio, and advising on IP licensing and collaboration agreements. He continues to work in these areas and across a wide spectrum of chemical, pharmaceutical and biotech subject matter.

David's clients include UK and overseas based petrochemical, industrial chemical and medical companies.

David is a member of the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) (CChem MRSC) to whom he has lectured on IP matters.
