Gaggia's invention was the first steam-free machine to force water to flow through the coffee grounds at high pressure via a spring-loaded piston. The coffee it produced was made more quickly, had a more intense flavour and aroma, and came with a distinctive crema - everything the market wanted. "

Graham has over 20 years experience in Finance within business. After qualifying as an accountant in a large automotive group, Graham held a number of senior financial roles across a diverse range of industries and, before joining Haseltine Lake in January 2011, was the FD in a successful MBO within the print and media sector.

Graham sits on the firm's Management Committee and is responsible for the strategic and operational development of the business' financial team and processes. In addition, Graham has a wide ranging brief to work across the business to help drive value growth for clients and profitable growth for the firm.
