Jane advises across a range of UK and European corporate identity issues, including clearance of new brands, enforcement, domain name conflicts, and dispute negotiation and resolution. She has considerable experience of contentious proceedings and appeals before the Community Trade Marks Office (OHIM).

Her clients include Fortune 500 and FTSE 100 companies from industry sectors such as foodstuffs, engineering, medical equipment and petrochemicals,as well as local businesses including a successful animations company.

Jane worked on the Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys (ITMA) committee which established the Continuing Professional Development scheme with which UK trade mark attorneys must now comply. She served for two years on ITMA Council and has been involved with educational activities for ITMA including tutoring final examination candidates.

Jane is a proficient French speaker. She regularly visits the USA to develop client relationships. She also visits China and has been a speaker at IP seminars in several cities there.
