"My favourite brand has to be the little “v” device used by Vintage Books (part of Random House Publishing). Vintage publish so many of my favourite authors, that their subtle little logo pops up on every bookshelf in my house. As for favourite inventions - it has to be the contact lens. Any other myopic swimmers out there will understand why! "
Lesley qualified as a solicitor in a major London firm, and held in-house counsel roles in the retail and construction sectors before making the transition to management roles, first in the timber industry (where she was involved in a number of corporate acquisitions and disposals) and subsequently in a Midlands law firm.
Lesley has been Chief Executive since 2001. She is responsible for both the strategic and the operational management of the business. She chairs the firm’s Management Committee and oversees its business development program. She is also responsible for a range of service improvement initiatives and regularly visits clients to obtain feedback on the firm’s service delivery.
Lesley is a Director of and is responsible for the firm’s liaison with the UK Science Park Association (UKSPA) through which she has links with a number of enterprise and regional development agencies throughout the UK. Within Haseltine Lake she is a member of the firm’s IP Due Diligence Team and its China and Japan Groups.
