"My favourite invention is the digital camera. A modern digital camera, like many products, represents a combination of innovations from fields such as CMOS sensors, solid state memory and LCD displays all working together. With an interest in photography I welcome the ability to instantly see if a shot worked. "
Phil has experience of patent prosecution in a wide range of physics and communication based technologies such as Lidar, MEMS devices, liquid crystal displays and imaging devices. Phil joined Haseltine Lake from an in-house attorney role at QinetiQ, and organisation formed from several UK Government research labs.
Phil’s experience extends from working with spin-out companies to managing large IP portfolios. As well as patent filing and prosecution, Phil has worked on devising IP strategies, invention farming, patent landscaping, IP due diligence and IP exploitation assignments.
