Haseltine Lake celebrates in style at the 139th INTA conference

26 May 2017

This week, Haseltine Lake attended the annual 139th International Trademark Association (INTA) conference, held at Fira Gran Via in Barcelona, Spain.

The conference welcomed more than 10,000 delegates, including brand managers, C-level executives, general counsel, government officials, IP economists, academics, media, judges and trademark professionals from around the world. Íñigo Méndez de Vigo, Spain’s Minister for Education, Culture and Sport, was this year’s keynote speaker at the Annual Meeting.

To mark the occasion, Haseltine Lake celebrated in style this week, by hosting a drinks reception at the historic Palau de la Musica Catalana. Guests enjoyed an appetising selection of Catalonian canapes and fine wines, accompanied by the music of Spanish guitarist, Nadim Robert Majure.

Architect Lluís Domènech i Montaner built the Palau de la Música Catalana between 1905 and 1908 as a home for the Orfeó Català (a Catalan choral society). Designed in the Catalan Art Nouveau style, the Palau is the only concert venue in this genre to be listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO (in 1997).
