Goodbye to our Gromit

08 October 2013

Haseltine Lake staff were sad to see our “What a wind-up” Gromit leaving its home on Redcliff Quay in early September to get ready for the big auction which took place in early October. All 81 Gromits were auctioned off with all proceeds to be donated to the Wallace & Gromits’s Grand Appeal, Bristol’s Children’s Hospital charity.

Our ‘’What a Wind Up’’ Gromit was bought by an internet bidder for a whopping £25,000 but his new home is still yet to be revealed. The auction of all Gromits raised an amazing £2.3 million which will go toward the expansion of Bristol’s Children Hospital, benefitting babies and children from all over the South West and beyond.
