Haseltine Lake to partner with Visionpath for their SKILL! Programme in 2014

24 January 2014

Haseltine Lake has partnered with Visionpath to take part in their 2014 SKILL! Programme, a mentoring workshop for disadvantaged Bristol teenagers, in Bristol.

Founded in May 2008, the aim of Visionpath is to create inspiring learning programmes which provide professional development opportunities for corporate employees alongside youth development opportunities for local communities. SKILL! is their flagship programme and has been running since 2008 - engaging professionals from corporate businesses to support learning workshops for disadvantaged local teenagers. Since launching in 2008, SKILL! has reached over 1300 students and 350 professionals.

SKILL! involves one-day workshops where professionals and students join forces to devise and pitch big ideas for resolving problems in their communities. The workshops give students a valuable, fun and inspiring learning experience that boosts their confidence and equips them with problem-solving, communication and teamwork skills - all vital in the world of work.

Together with PwC, Haseltine Lake’s mentors will join forces for the workshops scheduled for 29 January and 5 March.
