The two-day anniversary summit at the ICC Birmingham was attended by Haseltine Lake’s Chief Executive Lesley Evans, Partner Alex Rogers and Associate Elizabeth Cooper-Rolfe. The mood of the summit was very upbeat with speakers from private sector, government and not-for-profit organisations painting an encouraging picture of the opportunities in the UK and internationally for science and technology-based businesses  and for the Science Park Movement. Lesley Evans commented: “In the UK we are seeing a much more joined-up approach to the development of our Science & Technology sectors and the Government appears to be recognising the important role that Science Parks can play in support of these sectors.”

To mark the UKSPA 30th Anniversary, Haseltine Lake produced a special edition best practice guide to “Getting the Most out of your Intellectual Property”. This is an IP toolkit for SME businesses in the Science and Technology sectors. Copies are available to download here and hard copies available from UKSPA. See here for their website.
