Greg joined Haseltine Lake in 2016 having qualified as a UK and European patent attorney earlier that year. Prior to this, he spent the previous four years training at a major private practice firm in London. Greg obtained a Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bristol and his major projects focussed on the vibration dynamics of post-buckled structures, and developing a prototype for a variable camber morphing wing.

Greg works with clients ranging from multinational corporates to SMEs and has experience handling patent matters in an assortment of technology areas, including oil and gas exploration and extraction, medical devices, household appliances, power tools, automotive vehicles, packaging, and consumer products. He is involved in the drafting and prosecution of patent applications and advising clients on infringement, validity and entitlement issues. In addition, Greg has handled a number of international assignment programs and clearance exercises, and has presented at oral proceedings before the European Patent Office during examination, opposition, and appeal.
