Greg is a UK and European Patent Attorney who works in the Electronics and Communications team and the Energy, Environmental and Engineering team.

Greg obtained a First Class Honours degree in physics from the University of Sheffield. During his degree, Greg worked on laser engraved microcantilevers comprising self-assembled monolayers for use in gas detection technologies. His PhD is in the field of particle physics, specifically neutrino oscillation, and involved Monte Carlo simulation of particle detector architecture, circuit design and construction techniques, optics and LED technologies.

Greg is experienced in the drafting and prosecution of applications across a diverse range of technologies, including semiconductor devices, telecommunication technologies, machine learning, industrial machining, medical prostheses and equipment, microelectromechanical devices and automotive technologies. His breadth of experience is particularly useful in the prosecution of applications which span several fields of technology, for example, inventions which include electrical and engineering elements. He also provides freedom to operate, validity and infringement advice.

As a European Design Attorney, Greg has experience working with Community Registered Designs, and also advises on the availability of unregistered design rights.
