Lisa joined Haseltine Lake in September 2006 after graduating with a Masters degree in Physics from the University of Bath in July of that year. Her studies at university covered a wide range of subject-matter including electronics, signals processing, medical physics, nanotechnology, semiconductors, and astrophysics.

During her time at Haseltine Lake, Lisa has gained experience of handling inventions in a range of technical fields, including communications technologies, medical systems, healthcare monitoring systems, space sector technologies, audio and video processing systems, security and safety systems, hearing instruments and mechanical engineering. Lisa also regularly handles patent applications relating to software and business methods.

Lisa has experience of working for European and overseas clients, ranging from start-ups to multinationals. During her training, Lisa completed a secondment at a leading audio electronics company in the UK, where she gained valuable in-house experience. Lisa completed her training in the UK and qualified as a UK and European Patent Attorney in 2012. 

Lisa is experienced in drafting and prosecuting International, European, UK and Netherlands patent applications and in post grant proceedings. Lisa also supports a number of high-tech companies in their IP and business planning, including supporting the transfer of space technologies to non-space sectors.
